Terms and Conditions

COVID-19 What if this affects me attending or the class running?

Currently the way we are managing this is that should there be any restrictions imposed meaning that we cannot open the school to run a class then our accreditation body The Federation of Holistic Therapists are supporting course providers in allowing blended learning, meaning that the theory section of the class would run live via zoom and the practical demonstration of techniques would be sent to you via video, you would practice this at home and then submit a video recording of you delivering the full routine correctly along with written knowledge checking questions.

Should any student as an individual not be able to attend for COVID-19 related reasons, either because of sickness or isolation due to being contacted via trace and protect or due to travel restrictions being imposed then the individual/s would provide us with proof of this and would be rescheduled onto the course at an upcoming date, if this date wasn’t suitable then they would be issued with a voucher to use at a future date.

•It is of paramount importance to us that any skills passed on from our teaching are of exceptionally high standard which is why therapists who qualify from the Glasgow School of Massage in any qualification will not be qualified or insurable to teach that particular discipline, therapy or qualification within three years of gaining their diploma certification. These three years should be used to become exceptionally confident and highly skilled in your qualification.

In guidance from the oncology team at our specialist cancer hospital and the society of oncology massage therapists due to the specialist nature of our oncology massage diploma and safety of people with cancer, therapists will also require a minimum of three years work experience as an oncology massage therapist in a cancer hospital, cancer centre or hospice before being qualified/insurable to teach this qualification. This will be worded on certificates. After this period of time and evidence an advanced certificate will be issued at your request.

By continuing with booking your course after being asked to check our website terms and conditions you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

A work that is available to be copied does not mean it is available legally.
