Q. What times do the courses run?

A. times are as follows;
Oncology Massage Diploma-9.30am-5.30am

Deep tissue course-9.30am-5pm
Advanced One day courses 10.30am-5pm (Smaller classes may finish earlier)
Introduction to Massage Workshop 12.30pm-3.30pm
Indian Head Massage 10am-1pm

Q. Do I need to bring a model or massage table to the class? A. No

Q. Where are the courses held?
A. The address is ;Unit 6, 21-29 Hathaway St, Glasgow G20 8TD

Q. Is there free parking?
A. Yes, there is a free car park attached to Hathaway business centre.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Please wear whatever you are comfortable working in.
The teaching space can be warm in the summer.

Q. Is there disabled access at the venue?
A. No, there are stairs up to our classroom unfortunately.

Q. Do my qualifications meet your prerequisite for attending the course?
A. The prerequisite for our advanced courses is level 3 body massage qualification with anatomy and physiology which is the equivalent to SQCF level 6/HNC or above massage qualification. We do not accept students from short/fast track.
If you are unsure if you meet this prerequisite please contact your course provider to check this information rather than asking us.

Q. Lunch
A. There are cafes and shops in the area otherwise if you’d like to bring a packed lunch to eat in class or the nearby park.

Q. Are the courses insurable?
A. Yes, all professional courses are insurable however as with any course it is advisable you check with your insurance company.

Q. Are there case studies required for these course?
A. There are case studies required for the Oncology massage course, Indian head massage course and our Therapeutic Body massage course.

Q. Will I be receiving a massage during training?
A. Yes, on most course you will be working and practicing in pairs.
Please get in touch if there are any cultural, religious or health reasons your would prefer to not receive a massage and a model can be provided.

Q. For cultural or religious reasons I would like to only give/receive a massage from another student of the same gender. Is this possible?
A. Yes, please let us know at booking stage so that we can organise this in advance.

Q. I am male, can the course be taught by a male therapist for cultural or religious reasons?
A. Unfortunately our tutors are currently all female so this is not possible.

Q. I am pregnant, can I still attend the courses?
A. Yes, of course, but please let us know in advance so that we can organise a model if need be.

Q. Who is the course taught by?
A. The courses are taught by Rachel Black.

Q. How to travel to the school?
A. Hillhead and Kelvinbridge subway stations are both a 20 minute walk.
