Teaching Qualifications and Restrictions
We are committed to maintaining exceptionally high standards in all qualifications awarded by The Glasgow School of Massage. Therefore, therapists who complete any qualification with us are not permitted to teach or offer training in that discipline for a minimum period of three years after receiving their diploma certification. This period allows therapists to gain confidence and develop advanced skills in their practice before teaching others.
For our specialist Oncology Massage Diploma, in line with guidance from oncology experts and our local cancer centre, a minimum of three years’ professional experience working as an oncology massage therapist within a hospital, cancer centre, or hospice setting is required before a therapist can be considered qualified and insured to teach this discipline. This requirement will be clearly stated on all relevant certificates. Upon completion of this experience and submission of evidence, therapists may request an advanced teaching certificate.
Booking Confirmation
By proceeding with your course booking after reviewing our website Terms and Conditions, you agree to comply with all the terms outlined here.
