The following changes have been made following a COVID-19 risk assessment and Scottish government guidelines.
Firstly please read and follow the FHT and governments guidelines here;

Please do not come into the building if you have any of the following symptoms;
- a new, continuous cough
- a high temperature (37.8 degrees Celsius or above)
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
Before coming to the school please input your details into the given survey. This will be used for the trace and protect program.
❗️Please adhere to the new COVID-19 signage.
❗️Temperature checks-The morning before you attend, all attendees must take their own body temperature and must not attend if their reading is above 37.8’c.
❗️Face covering – must be worn at all times in the school building covering the mouth AND nose. These are not provided by the school so must be brought with you.
❗️On entering the building attendees must go straight to the building toilets and wash their hands thoroughly with hot water and soap following the government hand washing guidelines. This must also be done before leaving the building.
❗️On entering the classroom attendees must sanitise their hands with the alcohol gel provided. Please use this regularly throughout your time in the classroom and before leaving.
❗️If you cough or sneeze you must keep your mask on while doing so and direct your face into the crook of your elbow or into a disposable tissue then sanitise your hands and then go to the bathroom to thoroughly wash your hands.

❗️Massage tables/couch covers for the massage tables have been removed allowing for a better wipe clean surface before after each use. Massage tables must be sprayed and wiped with sanitising wipes and spray before and after each use with thorough attention to inside the face Cradle/hole. Tables should be dressed just before use and not in advance with disposable face cradle cover and couch roll only provided, no couch covers or blankets
❗️Students must bring their own towels (2x Large towels)
❗️Pillows-we are now using waterproof easy wipe cushions -Please ensure you spray and wipe these after every use with the dettol spray and sanitising wipes provided.
❗️Gloves must be worn while delivering all massage treatments. Disposable, latex free, vinyl gloves will be provided.
Gloves should be changed after massaging the clients hands.
❗️Working in front of or above “High risk” zone is currently not permitted therefore massage treatments should either exclude the face or the face and head should be massaged last and from behind the client.
❗️We won’t be offering drinks refreshments or water. Please bring your own bottle of water which you can refill in the kitchen.
❗️On leaving the classroom please put any rubbish in the bin bags provided and take it with you to dispose of outside.
❗️Before leaving the classroom please wipe down all surfaces with the sanitising wipes and spray provided.
❗️Please observe a two meter distance with others when not delivering/receiving treatments.
❗️Test and Protect-We will also keep contact details of everyone who comes in to the building for Scotlands COVID-19 Test and Protect programme and to make these available in the event of anyone who comes in to the building tests positive.
❗We ask that you don’t come into the school building if you you think you have flown or been on a long train journey in the last 14 days.
